Professional Accounting Training Program (FTMS International)
The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA ) is the only body authorized by law to register and grant practicing certificates to certified public accountants in Hong Kong. It has around 46,000 members and more than 17,000 registered students. The Institute evolved from the Hong Kong Society of Accountants, which was established on 1 January 1973 by the Professional Accountants Ordinance. In order to become the member of HKICPA, one needs to go through a combination of examination and working experience. Examination The Qualification Programme (QP) is a comprehensive training program that provides the knowledge and skills necessary to become a certified public accountant (CPA).
